My problem with Al
OK, so I don’t know Al Gore well enough to say I really hate him. Perhaps he’s a nice guy, I don’t know. What really pisses me off about him though is his complete hypocrisy on the subject of ‘global warming’. Here’s a guy that spends more time riding in SUV’s and Lear Jets than any fifty people that I know. In fact, he rode back and forth to grade school in a limousine.
Don’t you think that if he really believed what he was saying he would try to set an example for the rest of us? Wouldn’t he move to a small energy efficient house? Wouldn’t he ride a bicycle whenever he could? Wouldn’t he own a Prius and drive that instead of riding in a gas guzzling SUV? Wouldn’t we see him taking his glass and cardboard down to the recycling center like the rest of us do? Wouldn’t he telecommute instead of constantly flying around the world to promote his scam?
But first, former Vice President Al Gore, a longtime advocate of green economic measures, made the case for advancing alternative energy and conservation.

The way Al Gore lives it’s obvious that he either doesn’t believe what he is preaching, or he thinks himself above changing his lifestyle to coincide with his beliefs.
His main form of travel is a luxurious Lear jet. When he does have to drive around, he uses 2 big black SUV’s, which he leaves idling outside wherever he stops to make speeches about global warming. That way, he can keep the AC on.
Oh, that’s right. He’s special. He’s important. He’s one of the elite. He will not live the third world lifestyle that he wants to impose on the rest of us.
So, while the rest of us are supposed to drive hybrid cars and turn our thermostats down, elitist Gore and his wife waste enough energy in their house for 20 families and justify it by saying they are “carbon-neutral”. And guess who owns a business selling carbon credits?
Al’s goal is to become the world’s first carbon billionaire, not to save the planet. If the cap and trade legislation that he is promoting is enacted, the average home electric bill in the US will go up by $3100 per year! Got an extra $300 a month to give to Al and his buddies so they can buy more Lear jets and mansions? Me either…
The fact is, the energy Al wastes could supply the needs of 19 other households – but he wants ME to change MY lifestyle!
The Global Warming scam is about controlling people and stealing their money, not the weather.

He’s getting rich from environmentalism, not just by being paid a whopping $175,000 a speech but by using political pressure to force government policy in a direction that benefits his business interests.
Gore is chairman of the Alliance for Climate Protection, an outfit that seeks to “persuade people of the importance, urgency and feasibility” of going green. It recently launched a $US300 million ad campaign to coax American people and politicians to embrace the carbon-lite lifestyle.
But Gore is also chairman of a green investment firm called Generation Investment Management, which is a member of the Copenhagen Climate Council, an international collaboration of businesses and science bodies, and which invests in firms that produce renewable energy and low-carbon technology. So Gore uses one of his multimillion-dollar organisations, the Alliance for Climate Protection, to put pressure on government to promote the low-carbon lifestyle that will furnish one of his other multimillion-dollar organisations, General Investment Management, with booming business.”

Al Gore wrote the book Earth in the Balance: Ecology and the Human Spirit, which is the wacko socialist manifesto to regulate everything based on junk science. He parroted the extremist EARTH FIRSTers terrorist party line with a straight face. It is probably the most ignorant book ever written about the environment. In it he wrote the scary totalitarian prescription “we must make the rescue of the environment the central organizing principle for civilization.”
The following are highlights from a 1992 Democratic National Committee (DNC) memo by Jonathan Sallet to the Clinton-Gore campaign that highlighted Gore vulnerabilities from his extremist manifesto – Earth in the Balance. The memo was obtained by the Wall Street Journal, which published it in August of 1992. Among the DNC’s findings:
- “Al is a radical environmentalist who wants to change the very fabric of America.”
- “He (Gore) criticizes America for being America — a place where people enjoy the benefits of an advanced standard of living.”
- “He (Gore) has no sense of proportion: He equates the failure to recycle aluminum cans with the Holocaust.”
- “He (Gore) believes that our civilization, itself, is evil (because it is, in his words, ‘addicted to the consumption of the earth.’)”
Al Gore didn’t get the memo
Drew Johnson, the president of the Tennessee Center for Policy Research, decided to drive by Gore’s mansion in Nashville at 8:48 p.m. and records that floodlights were on illuminating the driveway leading up to the main quarter.
“I pulled up to Al’s house, located in the posh Belle Meade section of Nashville, at 8:48 p.m. – right in the middle of Earth Hour,” he wrote on his blog. “I found that the main spotlights that usually illuminate his 9,000 square foot mansion were dark, but several of the lights inside the house were on.”
He added: “The kicker, though, were the dozen or so floodlights grandly highlighting several trees and illuminating the driveway entrance of Gore’s mansion. I [kid] you not, my friends, the savior of the environment couldn’t be bothered to turn off the gaudy lights that show off his goofy trees.”
So that’s why I made this website – to help expose Al Gore for the hypocrite that he is and to dispute his ridiculous claims about global warming.
